Domestic prices of Russian wheat, against the background of the resumption of purchases in the Black Sea ports, rose by almost 9%.
Thus, according to the SovEcon Analytical Agency, last week the purchase prices of wheat with a protein content of 12.5% increased from 17.25 to 18.75 thousand rubles per ton (excluding VAT).
The company explained to the TASS agency that the rise in prices is associated with the rapid weakening of the ruble, as well as with the rapid growth of world prices in recent weeks.
In turn, due to the increase in grain shipments from the Black Sea ports, the agency raised the estimate of wheat exports in March from 1.2 million tons to 1.6 million tons.
In the short term, the company's experts expect that ruble prices will continue to grow, winning back the devaluation of recent weeks. A serious risk for grain holders is the possible tightening of state regulation.
