The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan asks to regulate the export of fertilizers 10.05.2024 в 13:16 36 просмотров

In Kazakhstan this year it is planned to add 1.5 million tons of mineral fertilizers, of which 900 thousand tons will be products of domestic factories. To date, only 453 thousand tons of fertilizers have been shipped to farmers, or 30% of the plan. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Aidarbek Saparov, called for speeding up shipments, including through priority deliveries from domestic factories to the domestic market.

“Olzhas Abayevich, we ask you to instruct the Ministry of Industry to take measures to prioritize the provision of the domestic market with fertilizers in the required volume and only after that ship for export,” Aidarbek Saparov said at a government meeting, addressing the Prime Minister.

He said that work on the shipment of mineral fertilizers has been fully completed only in the Kyzylorda region. The remaining akimats need to speed up their work.

To support farmers, the issue of providing installment plans has been worked out with fertilizer manufacturers. In turn, akimats need to directly address all issues regarding supplies from factories.

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov also noted that there are complaints from farmers about the lack of fertilizers from domestic factories.

“Akimats need to speed up the shipment of fertilizers and preferential diesel fuel. Therefore, the Ministry of Industry should take measures to increase production volumes of in-demand fertilizers,” the head of government said.
