In the framework of the international exhibition Astana EXPO 2017, from the fourth to the eighth of September 2017 the Days of Durum Wheat were held with the participation of representatives of Italy's largest pasta producers - Pasta Zara, traders - Casillo Group, Luigi Fornara Brokers, durum wheat producers, research centers, associations and cooperatives farmers, millers and research agencies specializing in agricultural research.

The event was organized by Syngenta Kazakhstan with the support of the Association of Legal Entities "Kazakh Grain Union" and the Joint-Stock Company "Atameken Agro"

The visit of the Italian delegation began from the fields of Atameken Agro JSC, as well as the Research and Production Center of the grain farm named. A.I. Barayev, continued in Astana at meetings with government agencies, public organizations and representatives of science at the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and ended with participation at a round table with key players of the Kazakh durum wheat market
