On November 29, 2017, Astana hosted the first international oil and fat conference “KazOil 2017”, the general partner of which was the ALE “Grain Union of Kazakhstan”.

About 200 participants from 19 countries of the world showed interest in the conference, including Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, China, Iran, Pakistan, Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, the Baltic countries)

The conference program consisted of three sessions: “Kazakhstan on the map of the world oilseed market”, “World oilseed market: main trends, consumption markets” and “Modernization of the oil and fat industry in Kazakhstan: challenges and prospects”
