The volume of grain loading on the network of Russian Railways JSC in the Novosibirsk Region in 2021 exceeded the previous year by 37%, amounting to 1.1 million tons.
Including 532 thousand tons of grain were loaded for export last year in the Novosibirsk region, which is almost 6% more than in 2020.
According to Russian Railways, among the main importers of Novosibirsk grain products, the largest volume - 197 thousand tons - was sent to Kazakhstan. It is worth noting that throughout the entire period the country remained the leader in the purchase of grain, ahead of China.
Recall that since the beginning of the MY, the republic has imported 1.4 million tons of Russian wheat.
Also among the buyers of Novosibirsk grain:
Kyrgyzstan, actively buying Russian wheat - 76 thousand tons;
China - 72 thousand tons;
Mongolia - 56 thousand tons.
In the last month of the year - December - the loading of Novosibirsk grain, relative to the reporting period of 2020, exceeded 64% - 166 thousand tons.
