Sowing-2022 in Kazakhstan will be fully provided with domestic fertilizers 03.02.2022 в 16:54 261 просмотр

Agricultural producers will be fully provided with domestic fertilizers during the spring field work. The volume of application of mineral fertilizers this year will be about 695 thousand tons, which is almost 70 thousand tons more than last year. This was reported in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“Traditionally, 60% of purchased fertilizers fall on 2 types - ammonium nitrate and ammophos, which are produced in Kazakhstan. In order to provide agricultural producers with these fertilizers, negotiations were held with the management of domestic plants, as a result of which agreements were reached on the full supply of the domestic market,” the ministry informed.

With the start of spring field work, the Ministry of Agriculture, together with the akimats of the regions, will monitor the availability of mineral fertilizers on a weekly basis.

It is noted that 26.8 billion tenge is provided for the purpose of subsidizing their cost this year.

Recall: in Russia, from February 2 to April 1, 2022 inclusive, a ban on the export of ammonium nitrate was introduced due to the increased demand for these products. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation reported that an additional need for ammonium nitrate had formed on the domestic market, both from agricultural producers and industrial enterprises. In particular, in several regions of the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts, spring sowing will be shifted by several weeks due to a warm winter and will begin in February.

At the same time, the production of ammonium nitrate is growing in Kazakhstan. Over the past year, KazAzot increased production by 17%. For 12 months of 2021, the output of ammonium nitrate amounted to 380.7 thousand tons against 325.2 thousand tons a year earlier. In 2022, KazAzot plans to bring production to the level of up to 400 thousand tons.
