The Ministry of Agriculture plans to increase funding for spring field and harvesting work by an additional 70 billion tenge, World of NAN reports with reference to the press service of the Prime Minister.

Financing

This year, through the Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, a budget loan of 70 billion tenge was allocated for lending to spring field and harvesting work. Along with this, the Ministry of Agriculture is currently working on the issue of increasing the amount of funding for spring field and harvesting work by an additional 70 billion tenge, bringing the total amount of budget lending to 140 billion tenge. At the same time, with the allocation of additional funds in the amount of 70 billion tenge, the coverage of agricultural enterprises with affordable lending will be increased, which will allow financing an additional 1,300 farms.

Crop area

According to the data of akimats, a forecast structure of sown areas for 2022 has been formed. Thus, the total sown area will be 23.1 million hectares, which is 125 thousand hectares more than in 2021. The diversification of production and the departure from monoculture continues, in this regard, the area of ​​wheat will be reduced by 285 thousand hectares. The area of ​​fodder crops was significantly increased and amounted to 3.6 million hectares. At the same time, there is a slight increase in vegetable crops, while melons and gourds have been reduced by 2 thousand hectares. For oilseeds, a decrease in areas by 61.7 thousand hectares is predicted, however, these are such crops as flax, safflower and mustard, while the areas of sunflower have been increased. The planned indicators of such a socially important crop as sugar beet are also decreasing.

“To date, contracts for the supply of fertilizers have been concluded for a volume of 226,000 tons. In almost all regions, the shipment of mineral fertilizers has begun, about 56 thousand tons of fertilizers have been shipped to farmers, including 16.9 thousand tons to the southern regions. Stocks in warehouses are formed, including imported fertilizers. In this connection, it is necessary to provide farmers with fertilizers in a timely manner and in full, especially given the increase in their cost. From the side of the akimats, 27 billion tenge are provided for subsidizing, it is necessary to use them with maximum effect,” said First Vice Minister of Agriculture A. Saparov at a government meeting.

Diesel fuel

This year, 400,000 tons of diesel fuel has been allocated for sowing, which is 20,000 tons more than last year.

According to the Head of the Ministry of Energy B. Akchulakov, in accordance with the instruction of the Head of State, the ministry held consultations with the main resource holders involved in the supply of diesel fuel for agricultural producers, as a result of which the recommended price of diesel fuel for spring field work in 2022 is 212 thousand tenge /ton (176 tenge/liter), including VAT. Taking into account delivery and storage, the forecast price for SHTP is lower than the maximum approved retail prices (230-260 tenge/liter), which is 15-30% cheaper on average.
