NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM Minister of Energy Bolat Akchulakov reported on the supply of diesel fuel for spring field work, Kazinform correspondent reports.
As Bolat Akchulakov noted, the Ministry of Energy, together with the Ministry of Agriculture, approved a schedule for assigning regions to a refinery (oil refinery) for the supply of diesel fuel for spring field work, within which the need for SHTP was approved in the amount of 400.26 thousand tons.
“The approved schedule is aimed at execution to the agricultural departments of regional akimats on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and to resource holders on behalf of the Ministry of Energy. The departments of agriculture of regional akimats determine operators at their level. Shipment of diesel fuel from refineries for SHTP is carried out on a priority basis. At the same time, control and monitoring of shipments is carried out on a daily basis,” the Minister of Energy said during a government meeting.
The head of the department also named the recommended price of diesel fuel for spring field work.
“As for the cost, according to the instructions of the Head of State, the ministry held consultations with the main resource holders involved in the supply of diesel fuel for agricultural producers, as a result of which the recommended price of diesel fuel for spring field work in 2022 is 212 thousand tenge per ton or 176 tenge per liter (including VAT). Taking into account delivery and storage, the forecast price for SHTP is lower than the maximum approved retail prices, which is on average 15-30% cheaper.
The Minister noted that the Ministry of Energy does not have the competence to legislatively approve cheaper prices for diesel fuel for SHTP.
