The price of class 3 wheat with gluten content of 28% has decreased on the grain market. The cost of other categories of wheat continues to rise, the APK News agency reports.
The research bureau "Grain and Oilseeds. Kazakhstan" has released another review of grain prices. The bulletin dated February 10, 2025 reports that wheat and barley have increased in price over the week. Only class 3 wheat with gluten content of 28+ has decreased in price to 110 thousand tenge per ton.
According to the data, soft wheat of class 3 with gluten content of up to 25% is estimated at an average of 79 thousand tenge per ton. This is 6 thousand tenge more expensive than a week ago.
Wheat of class 3 with gluten content of up to 23% has increased in price by 5 thousand tenge and currently costs an average of 72 thousand tenge.
Grain of the 4th class increased in price by 5 thousand tenge – to 69 thousand tenge.
Grain of the 5th class increased in price by 4 thousand tenge – to 60 thousand tenge.
Barley costs 73 thousand tenge per ton. Its average price a week ago was 70 thousand tenge.
It is noted that all prices are indicated with VAT, from the elevator.
Analysts recommend that farmers do not keep grain, all categories of crops should be sold.
