The government plans to approve the rules for subsidizing the costs of grain exports to non-traditional markets in the near future. This will allow the timely sale of the harvest, which this year has become a record for the past 10 years. This was announced today by the Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov at an extended meeting in the Majilis on the issues of storing and selling the current year's harvest.
According to the minister, the rules for reimbursing the costs of transporting grain are already at the adoption stage.
"This type of subsidy will reduce the cost of transportation to the ports of the Black Sea, the Baltic, to the ports of Southeast Asia, and so on. Thus, our grain will become competitive in the markets of Europe, Africa, the Caucasus and other promising markets," said Aidarbek Saparov.
According to him, the approval of the rules in the authorized agencies is almost complete. "I think we will resolve all these issues this week," the minister concluded.
Recall that this year, Kazakhstan's farmers harvested 26.7 million tons of grain, including 17 million tons of wheat.
