The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Ministry of Digital Development and the State Corporation "Government for Citizens", launched a project to create a system for recording agricultural machinery within the framework of the unified digital platform "TsON 2.0". The launch of the information system will simplify the procedure for registering agricultural machinery, as well as increase the availability of public services for farmers, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

The pilot launch of the main function for the initial registration of machines took place in August 2024 in Almaty and Kostanay. The capabilities of the system were tested, including accepting applications through an electronic queue taking into account social benefits for service recipients, checking documents and data on equipment through a centralized database, and issuing digital registration documents.

Starting from the second quarter of 2025, all government services in the field of recording agricultural machinery will be provided through TsONs. The list of services will include registration and re-registration of equipment, issuance of tractor driver's licenses, state registration of collateral and technical inspection.

According to Vice Minister of Agriculture Baglan Bekbauov, the agricultural machinery accounting system in the IS "TsON 2.0" will reduce the time for providing public services, minimize errors in data processing and create a single digital space for accounting and registration of agricultural machinery.

"The digital format for providing services is an important step towards the modernization and digitalization of agriculture in Kazakhstan, which in the long term will contribute to improving productivity and supporting farmers in their daily activities," the Vice Minister notes.
