Hot weather is expected in most parts of Kazakhstan in June with below-normal precipitation. This is reported by Kazhydromet in the advisory seasonal weather forecast for the summer.
“Days are expected in the summer, both with an unstable weather pattern - heavy rains, thunderstorms and a refreshing northwest wind, and with fine days,” forecasters say.
According to the forecast, in the first two summer months in the western half of Kazakhstan, the air temperature is predicted to be above the norm, and in the eastern half of the country - about the norm. August is expected to be cooler: the temperature background in most areas is predicted to be within the climatic norm. Only in the far north of Kazakhstan the temperature is expected to be above the norm.
Forecasters also expect less than normal rainfall in most parts of Kazakhstan in June. Somewhat more rain is likely in the northeastern half of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the mountainous and foothill regions of the south and southeast of the country, precipitation is forecast to be within the normal range.
In July and August, on the contrary, rains are expected in most of the country - near the climatic norm.
