According to KTZ, 10.6 million tons of grain were transported by the end of 2024, including 8.1 million tons of exports. The largest volume of grain was exported to Uzbekistan, China and Tajikistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3.3 million tons were exported to Uzbekistan, 1.7 million tons to China. 1.2 million tons of grain were delivered to Tajikistan, which is 20% more than in 2023. 140 thousand tons of grain were exported to Kyrgyzstan, which is 1.9 times more than in 2023.
Kazakhstan also resumed grain supplies to Iran and Azerbaijan. The volume of grain supplies to Iran doubled (526 thousand tons), to Azerbaijan - 1.8 times (211 thousand tons).
From September to December 2024, 5 million tons of new harvest grain were transported, which is 50% more than in the same period in 2023. Export volumes increased by 57% and amounted to 3.9 million tons.
Including 1.5 million tons exported to Uzbekistan (45% growth), 633 thousand tons to Tajikistan (57%), 190 thousand tons to Afghanistan (51%), and 592 thousand tons to China (2%).
Deliveries to Iran increased 30 times, amounting to 455 thousand tons, and 188 thousand tons were exported to Azerbaijan (there were no deliveries in September-December 2023).
