Kazhydromet clarified the forecast of drought in Kazakhstan for June 07.06.2023 в 17:25 188 просмотров

According to forecasts of RSE "Kazhydromet", in June, humidification conditions are expected mainly near the norm in most of Kazakhstan.

However, in some areas of the north-west, in the south of the country, as well as in the north and in the center of the republic, zones of moderate drought are expected.

Moderate drought is expected, in particular:

- in Aitekebisky, Irgiz and Khromtau districts of Aktobe region,

- in Amangelda and Dzhangilda districts of Kostanay region,

- in the Karmakchinsky district of the Kyzylorda region,

- in Zhaksyn district of Akmola region,

- in the Shetsky district of the Karaganda region.

As the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Yerbol Karashukeyev said earlier, to date, spring field work has been completed in almost all regions of the country, with the exception of the Ulytau region, where sowing was delayed due to heavy rainfall. Completion of the work is planned by the end of this week.

This year, the total sown area in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 23.4 million hectares (68.6 thousand hectares more than 2022), including the area of spring sowing – 20.9 million hectares.

According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Agriculture, the wheat harvest in 2023 may amount to about 16 million tons.
