Official distributors of well-known brands of agricultural machinery faced supply problems due to the technical regulations of the Customs Union. The businessmen asked to amend the document, APK Novosti agency reports.
This issue was raised at a meeting of the EEC Council in Moscow.
“The official distributors of well-known brands of agricultural machinery faced the need to update the technical regulations of the Customs Union “On the safety of agricultural tractors,” the press service of the government said.
The Kazakh side, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin, initiated amendments to the document.
It is reported that the EEC Council has removed barriers in public procurement and technical regulations for agricultural machinery. From now on, supplies of equipment of well-known brands for farmers will be made without hindrance.
“At the initiative of the Kazakh side, the EEC Council made changes to the technical regulations of the Customs Union “On the safety of agricultural and forestry tractors and trailers for them.” The changes enable certification to the recently adopted UN Regulations for position lights and signals, direction indicators, driving lights and more. With the adoption of the changes, all planned deliveries of high-tech equipment for farmers will be carried out without obstacles.
