In the export direction to the countries of Central Asia, 6,761 loaded wagons have accumulated through the Saryagash station, and 22 trains have been temporarily suspended from movement.
In this regard, the KTZ-Freight Transportation company prohibits the loading of any types of cargo in the direction of Saryagash station for the period from November 1 to November 3. The order to this effect was signed by the chairman of the supervisory board of KTZ-GP Bauyrzhan Urynbasarov.
Several reasons have been given for the accumulation of carriages.
Firstly, the start of major repairs of railway tracks on the Shengeldy-Zhylga and Yntymak-Mankent sections.
Secondly, the failure of the Uzbek side to fulfill the plan for receiving trains (while the plan was 28, the actual number was 26).
It should be noted that earlier the Astyk Trans company, the largest operator of grain carriers in Kazakhstan, reported a slowdown in the speed of turnover of wagons due to the fault of railway workers. Due to unjustified downtime at stations, the turnover rate is now 48% higher than the standard - 21.78 days instead of 14.71 days.
