In April, the average monthly air temperature is expected to be 1-2 degrees above normal throughout Kazakhstan. Precipitation above normal is forecast for most of the republic. This is stated in the Kazhydromet forecast.
The amount of precipitation in April is expected to be near normal in the Ulytau, Karaganda, Pavlodar regions, in most of the North Kazakhstan, Akmola, Zhambyl, Almaty, Zhetysu and Abay regions, in the northeast of the Kyzylorda, Turkestan and in the northwest of the East Kazakhstan regions.
During the month, under the influence of cyclones from the south of the Caspian Sea and from the European territory of Russia, unstable weather will prevail. The wind is expected to increase to 15-20 meters per second, on some days with gusts up to 23-28 meters per second (in the west and south with dust storms). Thunderstorm and hail are likely across the republic.
At the beginning and in the second half of the first ten days of April, precipitation is expected over most of Kazakhstan: at night in the form of rain and snow, during the day - in the form of rain.
On April 3 and 10, heavy precipitation is predicted in the Abay and East Kazakhstan regions, at the end of the decade - on April 8 and 9 in the center and southeast (Ulytau, Karaganda, Zhambyl regions), on April 9 - in the Turkestan, Almaty and Zhetysu regions. Fog is expected across the republic; ice is expected in the north, east, and center of the country.
Forecasters predict that precipitation will stop at the beginning of the decade in the west of the country, and in the middle of the decade in most of the republic.
In the first days of the decade, a decrease in air temperature is expected.
In the northwest, north, east, and center of the country at night up to -2-7°C, during the day +3+8°C, then from April 4 a gradual increase is predicted at night to 0+5°C, during the day up to +12+20 °C. At the end of the decade there will again be a drop in the temperature background at night to -2-7°C, and during the day to +5+12°C.
In the south and southeast of the country, in early April, the air temperature will drop at night to -5+3°C, during the day to +5+15°C, then it is predicted to increase at night to +3+10°C, and in the daytime to +13+23 °C. At the end of the decade, the temperature drop will again become slightly colder at night to -3+5°C, and during the day to +7+15°C.
In western Kazakhstan, the main background air temperature will be +2+9°C at night, +13+20°C during the day.
In the second and third ten days of April, with the removal of warm air masses from the regions of Iran and Central Asia, the temperature background will increase: in the north, center and east of the country at night to +2+10°С, during the day up to +15+25°С, in the southern regions and in the west of the Republic of Kazakhstan at night up to +7+13°С, during the day up to +17+27°С.
According to weather forecasters, the return of cold weather cannot be ruled out. With the influx of cold air masses from the territory of Russia in the northern, central and eastern regions of the republic, the thermometers can drop to -2-7 ° C at night, to +6 + 11 ° C during the day, in the southern regions and in the west of the country - at night to -2 +7°С, during the day up to +10+18°С.
