The presence of grain crops was calculated in Kazakhstan. The Office for National Statistics has released data on grain residues. As noted in the document, as of July 1, 2024, there are 6.1 million tons of grains and legumes in the country, reports the APK News agency.
Of these, the volume of wheat grain is 5 million tons. There are 4 million tons of food grain left, 96 thousand tons of seed grain, and about 860 thousand tons of feed grain.
There are also 90 thousand corn available. Of this volume, about 30 thousand tons are corn food grains, 3.6 thousand tons are seed grains, and the rest are feed grains.
There are also 790 thousand tons of barley in the bins. Of these, 312 thousand tons are food, 24 thousand tons are seeds, the rest is fodder.
There are 19 thousand tons of rye left in Kazakhstan. Including 12 thousand tons of food, 690 tons of seeds, 6 thousand tons of feed.
There are 60.5 thousand tons of oats available. Of this volume, 24 thousand tons are food, 32 thousand tons are fodder, the rest is seeds.
There are also 48.5 thousand tons of buckwheat. Of these, almost 46 thousand tons of food.
It is worth noting that last year, for the same period, 6.6 million tons of grain and legumes remained in Kazakhstan. And in 2022, reserves were almost half as much - 3.2 million tons. Every year in Kazakhstan, the carryover grain balance ranges from 1.5 to 2 million tons.
