The International Grains Council has released a summary of global grain production. According to the data, the wheat harvest in the 2024/2025 season in Kazakhstan is projected to be 15 million tons, the APK News agency reports.
It is worth noting that the previous assessment of international grain experts on the gross wheat harvest in Kazakhstan was lower by 2 million tons and was predicted for the current season at 13 million tons.
Exports of Kazakh wheat in the 2024/2025 season are projected at 9.8 million tons. Here the forecast has also been increased from 9.1 million tons.
It is worth noting that, in general, Kazakhstan’s farmers express satisfaction with the situation that is developing in the fields. They hope for high yields and predict the gross harvest to be at least 13 million tons.
Meanwhile, the US Department of Agriculture forecasts the volume of the new harvest in Kazakhstan at 14.5 million tons.
As for global production, according to USDA experts, this season wheat production will increase significantly in the following countries: Australia, India, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Pakistan, America. And in European countries, the Russian Federation and Ukraine, volumes, on the contrary, will be smaller.
The forecast of the International Council for the wheat harvest in Russia is 81.8 million tons.
