The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov proposed to conduct an inventory of agricultural machinery during a government meeting. According to him, in Kazakhstan the actual renewal of the machine and tractor fleet was 3.1% against the plan of 5.5%.
“It is necessary to carry out high-quality work on the inventory of agricultural machinery. A special algorithm for joint actions has been communicated to local executive bodies,” Saparov said.
He recalled that a program of preferential leasing of domestically produced agricultural machinery was launched at a “net” 5% per annum.
“The Ministry of Agriculture has adopted an action plan to launch this program, and consideration of applications from farmers is in full swing,” the minister said.
According to him, as of July 20, contracts worth 32.2 billion tenge were concluded.
“Regional akimats need to carry out explanatory work among agricultural producers and ensure the achievement of planned indicators. On the part of the government, all the necessary work was done in the shortest possible time,” said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture.
