Grain harvesting is underway in the southern regions. The price of wheat turned out to be lower than expected, although the quality indicators there this year are close or correspond to milling conditions. Taking into account the situation in the south, the Ministry of Agriculture updated its recommendations on the trade strategy for agricultural producers this week, reducing the overall price of the grain group in the country.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the average prices at elevators for soft wheat of class 3 are 97 thousand tenge / ton (gluten up to 23), 112 thousand tenge / ton (gluten up to 25) and 126 thousand tenge (gluten 28+).
Wheat of class 4 costs an average of 83.6 thousand tenge / ton in the country, class 5 - 62 thousand. Durum - 119 thousand tenge / ton (protein 14+) and 131 thousand (protein 15+). Barley of the 2nd class - 65 thousand tenge per ton.
In the current situation, the Ministry of Agriculture recommends selling grain, since storing stocks does not make sense, the recommendations say.
The situation with oilseeds is more optimistic. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, prices for flax (213.2 thousand tenge/ton) and rapeseed (200 thousand tenge/ton) continued to rise.
There is demand for red lentils of any condition. Substandard legumes cost 150 thousand tenge/ton.
