The Chinese company Yuliang Group plans to import wheat from Kazakhstan at the level of nearly 200-300 thsd tonnes per year on a long-term basis, declared representatives of the company on July 11 during negotiations between the association of legal entities "Grain Union of Kazakhstan" and the Representative Office of the China International Chamber of Commerce in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It was noted that the Director General of the China International Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan, Gao Qi had the meeting with the Executive Director of the Grain Union of Kazakhstan, Shokan Badykhan. The parties actively discussed the bilateral cooperation in the sphere of Kazakh agricultural products exports to China.
Yuliang Group is the largest food state-owned company of Henan province of the People's Republic of China. In 2018, the cumulative assets of the company totaled 23.6 bln CNY. The annual capacities of grain deep processing total 1.5 mln tonnes, and the storage capacities — 3 mln tonnes.
As a reminder, the association of legal entities "Grain Union of Kazakhstan" together with APK-Inform Agency announced the third international conference "KazakhGrainExport 2019", to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, on September 19-20.
