
As of February 1, grain and legume reserves in Kazakhstan totaled more than 16 million 795 thousand tons, including wheat - more than 13 million 828 thousand tons. This was reported by the Bureau of National Statistics.
Of the total grain volume, food reserves amounted to more than 13 million 345 thousand tons, seeds - more than 1 million 391 thousand tons and fodder - more than 2 million 058 thousand tons.
There were more than 11 million 817 thousand tons of food wheat in storage, more than 1 million 126 thousand tons in the seed fund, more than 884 thousand tons were fodder.
According to the statistics agency, there were about 6 million 300 thousand tons of grain in the storage facilities of agricultural producers, more than 4 million 700 thousand tons in elevators, more than 2 million 998 thousand tons in farms, more than 283 thousand tons in wholesalers, and more than 11.1 thousand tons in producers of organic chemicals. The stocks of millers amounted to more than 1 million 332 thousand tons and about 1 million 128 thousand tons in other legal entities.
Barley stocks at the beginning of the month amounted to more than 1 million 865 thousand tons: 805.6 thousand tons of food, 169.8 thousand tons of seeds and 890 thousand tons of feed.
In addition, corn reserves in Kazakhstan amounted to 126 thousand tons, rice 238 thousand tons, rye - 23 thousand tons, oats - 235.7 thousand tons, buckwheat - 86.8 thousand tons.
