In March - May 2025, the temperature background in Kazakhstan is expected to be warmer than usual: 1-2 degrees above normal. At the same time, periods with low air temperatures are not excluded. This is reported by Kazhydromet in its advisory weather forecast for spring.
Precipitation in March is expected to be above normal in most of the republic. Near-normal precipitation is predicted in the southwestern half of the country: in Mangistau, most of Kyzylorda, Turkestan, northwest Zhambyl regions, in the south of Aktobe and Ulytau regions.
In April, precipitation is expected to be within normal limits in most of the republic. Above normal - in the northwestern half of the republic: most of Aktobe, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan regions, northeast of West Kazakhstan and northwest of Akmola region.
In May, near-normal precipitation is expected in most of Kazakhstan. Less than normal is expected in the southwestern part and in the center of the country: in Mangistau, in the Ulytau region, Karaganda, most of Kyzylorda, in the south of Aktobe, in the north of Turkestan, Zhambyl and Almaty regions. More than normal is expected in the extreme north-west, in the mountainous, foothill areas of the south, southeast, east of the country: in the northwest of West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan regions, as well as in the mountainous and foothill areas of the south and southeast, east of the country.
