One of the tasks of the government for 2022 is to increase the production of socially significant food products to saturate the domestic market and prevent their shortage. Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov spoke about what measures to support agricultural production will be taken today at a government meeting with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“A new procedure for the turnover of agricultural land will be developed and the allocation of land will be simplified,” the head of government informed.
In addition, according to Alikhan Smailov, the government will take the necessary measures to provide farmers with enough seeds, fertilizers and fuel.
It is also planned to further improve the system of subsidizing the agro-industrial complex with the introduction of a unified information system for subsidizing.
It is planned to implement the first stage of the creation of the National Commodity Distribution System this year.
“In the field of logistics and trade, a unified strategy for the development of cross-border hubs will be adopted, and it is also planned to implement measures to stimulate national e-commerce. The capacity of the main railway networks will be increased, as well as the cost of logistics services will be reduced,” the Prime Minister said.
To eliminate the "digital divide" in promising rural areas, they promise to improve the quality of the mobile Internet. It is also planned to launch 5G communication technologies in large cities and operate non-geostationary satellite systems to provide Internet to remote settlements.
In addition, Alikhan Smailov announced plans to significantly reduce the recycling fee for agricultural machinery.
