In January, the export of grain from the Novosibirsk region to Kazakhstan, compared to the same period last year, increased four times.
In particular, according to the regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor, in the first month of 2022, 44.3 thousand tons of grain were shipped to the Republic of Kazakhstan, of which 93% is wheat.
It should be noted that in 2021, 197 thousand tons of Novosibirsk grain products were exported to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition to the official shipment, in early February, the first case of illegal export of wheat from the region to the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2022 was registered. In particular, the administration did not allow the export of a consignment of food wheat with overload.
The Novosibirsk consignor planned to transport grain by truck, accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate, but with an excess of the volume stated in the shipping document by 25 tons. The actual overload amounted to 10.55 tons.
The department reported that, given that traceability during the movement of grain, and especially in the Republic of Kazakhstan, is under the strict control of federal and regional authorities, the export of undeclared volume of wheat was prohibited.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the MY, Kazakhstan has officially imported 1.7 million tons of Russian wheat.
