The Ministry of Agriculture will submit proposals on the maximum size of agricultural land by April 15.02.2022 в 16:33 331 просмотр

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, set the task to approve the maximum size of agricultural land plots by May 1, 2022. In this regard, today at a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov instructed the Ministry of Agriculture to submit approaches to approving the size of agricultural land by April.

“The implementation of the order requires a scientifically based approach, taking into account regional specifics. I instruct the Ministry of Agriculture by April 1, 2022 to present the main approaches to approving the maximum size of agricultural land,” Smailov said.

Also during the meeting, the prime minister instructed to resolve all issues of providing agricultural producers with cheaper diesel fuel, seeds, fertilizers and pesticides.

"Akimats of the regions need to take measures to preserve and carefully use moisture reserves through the use of appropriate technologies," Smailov said.

In addition, he noted the need to accelerate work to improve the system of state support for the agricultural sector.

“I instruct the Ministry of Agriculture to review and optimize the mechanisms for providing state support by June 1 of this year with the creation of a unified state information system and provide free access to it. Equal access to state support measures for all subjects of the agro-industrial complex, regardless of the size and forms of management, and the consolidation of their mutual obligations should become mandatory conditions,” the head of government emphasized.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan recalled that the head of state had repeatedly raised the issue of providing the local population with pastures. The government, together with the akims of the regions, created an appropriate working group, which ensured a decrease in the shortage of pastures in settlements.

“This work must be continued, taking into account the data of the General Prosecutor's Office, and by the end of this year all issues on providing the local population with pastures must be resolved,” Smailov concluded.
