Market participants appealed to the Kazakh Grain Union for assistance in relations with the Association of Agricultural Exporters. This Association is the financial and operational coordinator for the meeting of the Chinese experts from Customs General Administration to carry out inspections of the Kazakh enterprises for a permit to export flax, peas, lentils, and safflower to China.
The amount payable by each enterprise was established by the Association in the amount of 600 thousand tenge. However, attempts by market participants to obtain an estimate of expenses were not crowned with success, although last year, when the visit of Chinese specialists was coordinated by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, an estimate of expenses was provided upon request.
The Kazakh Grain Union, in turn, made an official request to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as the state body that authorized the specified Association, to investigate the situation and assist in obtaining cost estimates with the subsequent submission of a report to the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken about spending the business community.
