The Ukrainian educational platform "Kultivari" is launching a training course "Clear Precision Farming" in Kazakhstan in June. Due to the fact that the war in Ukraine continues, the course format will be completely online. Moreover, the good news is that the price of training in this format has been reduced and will amount to 190 thousand tenge.
The current crisis has gone far beyond Ukraine. World markets reacted with a rise in food prices, a number of supplier countries began to impose restrictions on the export of agricultural products, seeking to protect their own markets. Global inflation is on the rise.
The cost of agricultural production has also increased significantly. Prices for all components began to rise during the covid crisis and continue to rise. This was fully felt by Kazakh farmers. The cost of sowing has increased from last year's 50 thousand tenge per hectare to 80-100 thousand tenge (depending on the use of fertilizers and other factors).
But the yields in farms that work in compliance with scientific recommendations and apply modern technologies, including precision farming, are higher. And that means higher incomes.
Kultivari sees one of its missions as sharing knowledge of good farming practices for world food security. But this does not prevent Ukrainian farmers from sharing their experience in introducing advanced technologies in agriculture. Therefore, during the protracted crisis, the platform is looking for ways of mutual support. So, "Kultivari" reduced the price of the course in Kazakhstan so that more farmers could join the training. The training course "Clear Precision Farming" starts on June 20, when the sowing season is fully completed and farmers can fully concentrate on training. The course is based on the experience of practicing farmers and developers of information solutions, who became the pioneers of precision farming in Ukraine, studied, tested and evaluated the effectiveness of each technology.
