The Interdepartmental Commission decided to extend the restrictions on the export of sunflower seeds and sunflower oil until September 30 and August 31, respectively. The draft amendments to the order of the Ministry of Agriculture dated December 13, 2021 “On certain issues of the export of certain goods from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan” are posted on the Open NLA portal.
Restrictions on the export of sunflower seeds, previously set until July 1, have been extended until September 30. At the same time, the total volume of products allowed for export has been increased from 125,000 tons to 140,000.
The terms of restrictions on the export of sunflower oil have been extended until August 31 (previously they were until June 1). The volume of the quota has not changed - 114 thousand tons.
The Ministry of Agriculture, no later than July 8, 2022, will place an announcement on its Internet resource on accepting applications for a quota for the export of sunflower seeds from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for July-September 2022. The announcement will indicate the monthly volume of the distributed quota, the allowable monthly limit for one applicant, the volume of guaranteed supplies of sunflower oil to the domestic market, the list of required documents for, etc.
