Exporters of Kazakh oilseeds in May, after the previous increase, reduced exports.
Thus, according to the State Revenue Committee, shipments of oilseeds decreased m/m by 15.1%, amounting to 91.2 thousand tons (in April - 107.5 thousand tons, taking into account exports to the EAEU countries).
However, compared to the same period last season - 51.6 thousand tons (including the countries of the EAEU), exports increased by 1.7 times.
As a percentage of the total volume, the maximum share of sales - 60.7% - falls on flax.
Export of Kazakhstani sunflower m/m decreased by 1.7 times - from 28.3 to 16.6 thousand tons. In the reporting period, China became the main importer of seeds of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reducing the purchase of m/m by 2.6 times - from 14.7 to 5.5 thousand tons. Uzbekistan reduced m/m import by 1.3 times - from 11.1 to 8.5 thousand tons. Turkey increased purchases from 1.7 to 1.8 thousand tons in May.
In the segment of rapeseed, shipments increased by 1.6 times - from 6.9 to 10.9 thousand tons. The main buyer was Latvia, which increased the purchase by 1.3 times - from 4.5 to 5.8 thousand tons. Poland for the reporting period increased imports by 2.4 times - from 1.9 to 4.6 thousand tons. In addition, 528 tons went to Turkey.
In May, the export of soybeans decreased by 1.8 times - to 4.2 thousand tons (7.8 - in April), 4 thousand tons of which were sent to Uzbekistan and 252 tons - to China.
During the reporting period, safflower exports decreased m/m by 1.7 times - from 6.3 to 3.6 thousand tons in May, the main volume - 3.5 thousand tons - was sent to China, 51 tons - to Poland.
In May, 453.9 tons of mustard were exported (in April - 710.6 tons), 175 tons of which were sent to Senegal, 149.4 tons - to Poland, 66 tons - to Germany and 63 tons - to India.
