No one believes in tenge strengthening, wheat is getting cheaper on all markets 12.07.2022 в 14:20 312 просмотров

The tenge rate at the auctions of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange on Monday, July 11, strengthened against the dollar to 465.26 per $1 (minus 8.86). Strengthening against the Russian currency amounted to 0.05, up to 7.65 tenge per 1 ruble.

However, apparently, no one believes that the trend will be long-term. Exchangers in Nur-Sultan ask for 1 dollar 475 tenge, for 1 euro 482 tenge, for 1 ruble 7.2 tenge.

The cost of bitcoin per day decreased by 1.64%, to $20,431.

Brent oil is stable at $107.17 per barrel.

World wheat prices continue to fall. On the US exchange, the September futures for wheat is reduced by 4% to $8.55 per bushel.

In Russia, wheat costs from 13.5 to 14.5 thousand rubles/ton, depending on the region. The volume of the threshed new crop approached 5 million tons. Predictions for the season are good.

“Russian wheat has fallen in price over the past week - the region needs to restore its competitiveness in the world market. There are good chances for updating seasonal lows in Paris and Chicago, and even more so in the Black Sea,” Andrey Sizov, head of the SovEcon analytical center, shared his forecast for the main trading floors.
