The Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Altai Territory and the Republic of Altai on the Russian-Kazakh border from July 6 to 11, 2022 stopped the illegal export of two batches of regulated products to Kazakhstan. In particular, in the Rubtsovsky district, citizens of Kazakhstan transported 36 tons of food sunflower in trucks. This was reported by ElDala.kz with reference to the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
“There were no phytosanitary certificates for the products certifying their safety, which is a gross violation of the procedure for exporting regulated products from the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as the legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union,” Rosselkhoznadzor informed.
It is noted that the products are delayed until phytosanitary control and issuance of permits. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against violators.
