A new depreciation of the tenge happened on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange on Tuesday, July 12. As a result of trades, the ratio to the dollar amounted to 473.62 tenge per $1. The national currency also weakened against the ruble, to 8.01 tenge per 1 ruble (plus 0.36).

Noteworthy is the depreciation of the euro against the dollar - for the first time since 2002, the European currency on July 12 became cheaper than the American one. However, it soon won back part of the losses and slightly rose in price.

Almaty exchangers ask for 478 tenge for 1 dollar, 483 tenge for 1 euro, 7.4 tenge for 1 ruble.

The price of bitcoin fell by 5% to $19,403.

Brent oil stopped at $101.07 per barrel.

As a result of trading on Tuesday, the price of wheat on the US exchange fell by 5.21% to $8.11 per bushel.
