In particular, according to the Antimonopoly Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, over 6 months, flour production in the Republic of Tajikistan decreased by 35% YoY, and amounted to 227.5 thousand tons (in 2021 - 351.7 thousand tons).
The Sputnik Tajikistan agency notes, referring to the antimonopoly data, the cost of Kazakh wheat increased from $245 to $405 per ton during the reporting period. It should be noted, according to the monitoring of ZM, at the end of June, the export price of Kazakh wheat rolled back to the May level.
According to a preliminary assessment of market participants in the Republic of Tatarstan, export restrictions will provoke a reduction in the purchase of Kazakh wheat by 20%.
It should be noted that according to the customs service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in May Tajikistan reduced the purchase of Kazakh wheat m / m by 1.3 times, increasing flour imports by 26.8%.
