At a meeting held on August 31, 2022, the Interregional Commission decided to lift restrictions on the export of grain and flour in Kazakhstan.

Recall that this restriction was introduced by order of the Ministry of Agriculture from July 8 to September 30, 2022. Now, by decision of the Commission, the restrictions will cease to apply from September 10, 2022.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, announced at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Foreign Trade Policy and Participation in International Economic Organizations (IAC), a good grain harvest is expected in Kazakhstan. This year it is planned to harvest more than 13 million tons of wheat, which exceeds last year's harvest by 12%. For domestic consumption, about 6.5 million tons are required.

Also, the Ministry of Agriculture was instructed to monitor the export of grain and work out the issue of further regulation of the export of grain and flour.
