World wheat prices are also stable. December futures on the US stock exchange costs $8.6 per bushel.
Andrey Sizov, Director of the SovEcon analytical center, draws attention to the fact that the further dynamics of wheat prices will depend on the outcome of the UN negotiations with Russia on the extension of the grain deal for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products by sea. The talks were held on October 17 in Moscow with the participation of Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin and UN Under-Secretary-General Martin Griffiths.
The deal expires on November 19. The Russian side links its extension with the fulfillment by the United Nations of promises to promote the export of Russian grain and fertilizers to world markets.
