Winter crops in the second decade of November were in good and excellent condition in the southern regions of Kazakhstan. Weather conditions were favorable for agricultural crops. This is reported in the agrometeorological review of Kazhydromet.
According to weather forecasters, in the second decade of November in the south and south-east of the republic, a decrease in air temperature at night to minus 6-13 ° C caused the termination of winter wheat vegetation in areas near the stations of Kyrgyzsay and Uzunagash of the Almaty region. Heavy precipitation was favorable for the accumulation of soil moisture.
In the observed sites in Almaty, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions, the phase of development "grain germination" - "3rd leaf" was observed on winter wheat crops.
Kazhydromet also reported that the weather in the territory of pasture livestock farming in the second decade of November turned out to be sedimentary, snow cover is observed in the north, in the center of the country, in places in the west.
The condition of the grass is generally good and satisfactory in those areas where there is no snow cover.
Cattle grazing was carried out everywhere, grass-gathering and feed delivery to the wintering grounds of animals continued.
Pastures were poorly and moderately grazed. Pasture lands in Zhambyl district of Almaty region, Akzhaik district of West Kazakhstan region, Aktogay district of Karaganda region have been severely strained.
