According to the calculations of the Ministry of Agriculture, the rate of export customs duty of Russian wheat from December 21 will continue to rise for the fourth week in a row, having increased by 5.7% compared to the previous period.
The duty on barley will increase by 3.1% by the reporting period.
Thus, by the specified period, the amount of export duty will be:
- wheat at an indicative cost of $ 314.4/ton (12/14/2022 - $ 313.4/ton) - 3,333.8 rubles/ton (3,143.4 rubles/ton);
- barley - 2,686.9 thousand rubles/ton (2,603.1 rubles/ton) at a cost of $ 281.8/ton ($ 282.9/ton).
It should be noted that the US Department of Agriculture - USDA in the December report raised the forecast of Russian wheat exports in 2022-23 MG by million tons - up to 43 million tons.
The amount of the duty is recalculated by the Ministry of Agriculture on a weekly basis based on price indicators based on the prices of export contracts that are registered on the Moscow Stock Exchange.
