During 2023, the volume of transshipment through the grain terminal of Ak Biday-Terminal JSC in the seaport of Aktau amounted to 126 thousand tons. This was reported by Food Corporation.

Iran became the recipient of the grain cargo. This included:

wheat - 15,779 tons;

barley - 106,714 tons;

corn - 3,348 tons.

At the beginning of 2024, the terminal continues to accept grain from shippers. The agreed volume for transshipment in January is 18,800 tons. The plan for grain transshipment through the grain terminal for 2024 is 400 thousand tons.

It should be noted that after modernization in 2007, Ak Biday-Terminal has 11 silos for temporary grain storage with a total volume of 22.5 thousand tons. The production capacity of the terminal's transport communications for transshipment is up to 350 tons of grain per hour, which makes it possible to receive up to 3 thousand tons of grain per day from railway cars, and ship up to 4 thousand tons of grain per day to sea vessels.

The maximum throughput capacity of the terminal is up to 600 thousand tons of grain per year.
