For the sowing season, farmers will be supplied with preferential diesel fuel at a price 15% lower than the retail price. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
According to the schedule of the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Agriculture, it is planned to ship 340.2 thousand tons of diesel fuel to farmers of 17 regions as a priority from February 1 to June 30.
“The price of diesel fuel recommended by the Ministry of Energy directly for producers of agricultural products is 250 tenge/liter, which is 15% lower than retail prices at the gas station and remains unchanged after harvesting in 2023,” the Ministry informed.
The recommended price is the same for all 17 regions and includes transportation costs and the margin of regional operators for supplying fuel to farmers. The shipment and delivery of diesel fuel produced by the Atyrau, Pavlodar and Shymkent refineries will be carried out from the resources of the national company KazMunayGas and Petrosun LLP.
Currently, special commissions under regional akimats determine regional operators for the supply of fuel from the Atyrau, Pavlodar and Shymkent refineries.
