The food corporation held negotiations with representatives of the Iranian company FREEDOM SKY TRADING FZCO, the main supplier of agricultural products to Iran. As a result, the parties agreed on the supply of Kazakh feed grain to Iran, the press service of the Food Corporation reported.
“During the meeting, agreements were reached to resume cooperation in the supply of Kazakh barley, feed wheat and corn to Iran, both by water and by land,” the company informed.
Iran is a traditional market for Kazakh grain, both wheat and barley.
Previously, the EAEU countries concluded a Free Trade Agreement with Iran. This will enable Kazakhstan to supply up to 700 thousand tons of wheat and 690 thousand tons of barley to this country duty-free.
