At the Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after. S. Seifullin opens the research laboratory “Machine Intelligence”. It was created as part of a project to analyze the forecasting of the dynamics of the number of pests of grain crops based on a neural network model, reports the APK News agency.
As reported in KazATIU, the laboratory will be opened at the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Computer Systems and Professional Education.
“The Research Laboratory “Machine Intelligence” was created within the framework of the project “Analytical system for forecasting the dynamics of the number of pests of grain crops in Kazakhstan based on a neural network model” (grant funding for scientific research). The laboratory will conduct research in the following areas:
artificial intelligence,
neural networks,
IT technologies,
mathematical and computer modeling of calculation of liquid and gas flow processes,
big data processing," the university noted.
The laboratory is equipped with an advanced training workstation, data storage, server, IT equipment and work computers.
