The KTZ company has introduced another ban on loading grain cargo to China. From March 18 to 21, it is prohibited to send containers in the direction of the Dostyk border crossing.
The reason was the accumulation of more than 6 thousand loaded wagons at the border. Currently, 48 trains are temporarily suspended due to untimely arrival by the Chinese Railways.
In this regard, KTZ is introducing a ban on container transportation of grain (wheat, barley) and oilseeds, as well as ground products.
Due to the restrictions introduced, KTZ will not impose fines on shippers for failure to fulfill the transportation plan for the second ten days of March.
