The food corporation is launching a project to consolidate batches of agricultural products from farmers for export. The first batch is planned to send unclassified wheat. The press service of the Food Corporation reported this.
“The project provides for the formation of commercial batches of agricultural products at one elevator and their shipment for export. As part of the pilot project, batches of unclassified wheat from the 2023 harvest are being consolidated,” the press service informed.
The company noted that the Food Corporation does not purchase agricultural products, but only organizes their consolidation and export. The minimum consolidated batch volume is 1,643 tons per elevator.
Preliminary purchase prices are 55 thousand tenge/ton including VAT and 49,107 tenge/ton excluding VAT. Prices vary depending on the tenge to dollar exchange rate.
The project is being launched to provide agricultural producers with access to export operations. It is aimed at small and medium-sized producers, however, if the volume of the export batch is insufficient, it is possible to attract other participants in the Kazakh grain market.
Applications are accepted until April 30 inclusive. To participate in the project, the grain collection point must be included in the register of elevators that have permission to load in the PRC, and also have permission to load into containers (paragraph 8H and 10H).
