The Food Corporation sent 150 tons of agricultural products from its reserves to the flood-affected regions as humanitarian aid.
“To date, more than 150 tons of agricultural products, including sugar, buckwheat, flour, rice and fruits and vegetables, have been shipped to Kostanay, Atyrau, North Kazakhstan and West Kazakhstan regions,” the Food Corporation reported.
Regional representative offices and subsidiaries of the Food Corporation are involved in organizing the formation and dispatch of humanitarian aid. The Astyk Trans company provided assistance through the free delivery of humanitarian aid.
The press service of the national company noted that if there is a need for feed grain in the affected regions, the Ministry of Agriculture together with the Food Corporation will organize the prompt provision of grain to livestock and poultry farms.
