Spring field work is actively underway in Kazakhstan. To date, 15.3 million hectares have been sown, or 73% of the planned area. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan with reference to the Vice Minister of Agriculture Amangalia Berdalin.
In general, according to regional akimats, in this year. the total cultivated area in Kazakhstan will be 23.8 million hectares.
As A. Berdalin clarified, for the first time, the state has allocated additional funds in the amount of up to 400 billion tenge at a preferential rate of 5% to finance spring field work. Loans are allocated under the Ken Dala-2 program and are sold through branches of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, credit partnerships and second-tier banks.
In addition, cheaper diesel fuel, supplies of fertilizers to farmers under the advance subsidy mechanism, etc. are provided.
