Weather conditions in Kazakhstan in the first ten days of June were favorable for the development of grain crops. Spring and winter crops are in good and excellent condition, according to the agrometeorological review of Kazhydromet.
In the north of the country - in Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, Akmola and Pavlodar regions - sowing of spring crops was still being completed in the first ten days. Earlier crops have already reached the 3rd leaf phase, and the formation of nodal roots has begun in some areas. The condition of the plants is generally good to excellent.
The sowing campaign also continued in the center of the country. In the fields of spring barley in the Abai region, sown in the second ten days of April, heading began. The third leaf appeared on spring wheat crops and the formation of nodal roots began. The condition of the crops is generally good.
In the eastern regions, seedlings also appeared on the crops of spring grain crops, in some fields - a third leaf, and in early sowings - tillering and the appearance of the lower stem node. The condition of the plants is generally good to excellent.
A second pair of leaves appeared on sunflower crops in Abay, East Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions. The condition of the plants is good to excellent.
Oilseed flax has sprouted in the North Kazakhstan region.
In Aktobe, Almaty, and Zhetysu regions, seedlings and the appearance of lateral shoots are observed in potato fields. In the north and center, potato planting continued in the first ten days.

According to Kazhydromet, in the first ten days of June in the main grain-growing regions, soil moisture accumulation conditions were satisfactory and optimal due to heavy rainfall. However, in some areas, a low moisture content in the arable soil layer was noted, since rains fell unevenly across the region.
