National company KTZ is preparing to transport the new grain harvest and reports the resumption of work at headquarters, the APK Novosti agency reports.
"In order to maintain rhythmic loading, KTZ will resume work at headquarters for organizing the transportation of grain and milled products in the period from August 15 to December 31, 2024," KTZ said in its information.
In anticipation of the transportation of new grain and milled products, KTZ has contacted business representatives. The company expressed hope for assistance in solving the problems of ensuring food security for the country and realizing its export potential.
Elevators and grain processing plants are asked to provide timely information on the readiness of loading and unloading mechanisms, shunting equipment and winches.
During the period of mass shipment of grain crops, it will be necessary to ensure round-the-clock work, on weekends and holidays for loading elevators and grain processing plants, as well as unloading by consignees - flour mills, poultry farms.
It is necessary to conduct information sessions with cargo owners and elevators about the need to route shipments in order to speed up the turnover of wagons and eliminate shortages.
