Joint-Stock Company "Astyk Trans" informs about the adjustment of the cost of providing wagons from September 15, 2024, the APK Novosti agency reports.
"The decision taken is due to market conditions, an increase in the cost of servicing, renting and repairing wagons, an increase in the turnover period of wagons on the railway, which leads to an additional decrease in profitability," the company's information says.
Also, an important role is played by the general growth of inflation, which leads to an increase in the cost of services in general and affects the acquisition of new grain carriers.
"In connection with the above, in order to ensure the safety and uninterruptedness of transportation, as well as the development of the transport component in the volumes of the new season, the Company has decided to adjust the tariff policy," the message says.
The information does not indicate in which direction and by how much the Company intends to change the tariffs.
Meanwhile, as the APK Novosti agency was informed by the company, somewhere the tariff will increase, somewhere a decrease, depending on the direction.
